"...a head-scratching loss to the Miami Hurricanes..." ?

No, I don't think most Aggies think of it as "head scratching."

I case you haven't been paying attention, we aren't good and aren't going to get good under Jimbo.

Only two deals in the history of the world were worse than giving Jimbo $100M guaranteed:

The Indians selling Manhattan to the Dutch for $27. They got screwed.

The Russians selling Alaska to us for $7.2M. They got screwed.

If the admin, AD, and BMAs, want to salvage the trajectory of this program then: 1. Durkin needs to be fired tomorrow 2. Petrino alone calls plays (have doubts about yesterday's play calling/game plan...looked too much like Jimbo at times). 3. Re-evaluate Addazio.

We failed to get pressure on their QB while allowing CW to be continuously pressured.
Our Dbs need to be benched for all that shoulder bump crap instead sound tackling. I give them a little slack on their pass coverage due to the opposing QB having all day.

Love listening to Looch. Disagree on one thing.

I think Miami is really good. I think they hit a grand slam with their coordinators and their portal gets. I think 10-2 is the floor for them.

Durkin has to go. He should have been fired after last season. Same goes for OL coach.

We all saw that coming. Addazio and Durkin underperforming is a surprise to no one

I'm afraid that the loss to Miami is more serious than we realize at this time.
We've been exposed in so many areas I'm not convinced we're gonna be able to recover sufficiently to win.
Also, I don't know what it's gonna take to find out how to win on the road but if we can't win on the road we're at .500 team at best.
If that turns out to be the case this year Fisher has got to go.

Very accurate and very informative podcast.

Perhaps the key point that was not covered in depth is that this is year SIX for JF. I understand that BL doesn't want "to go there" right now.

I agree with many who believe that Durkin is a huge liability. I anticipate he will be replaced by Elijah Robinson before the season ends.

Really good podcast. I came away with the impression that, other than the two additional non-conference games, every other game will be either a toss-up or difficult to win. I was hoping to hear a more optimistic assessment, but appreciate the candor.

I'd like to hear more analysis, in future podcasts, about why the DLine (which is supposedly so stocked with high star studs), can't slip blocks or get any pressure on the QB.

sigh, so calloused to these types of losses now. This football program has always achieved doing less with more.

I don't know if 10-2 is the floor but I agree they're better than many thought and they have a good coach.

We, on the other hand, have a HC that talks all off season about fundamentals and details then puts a team on the field that tackles poorly and makes mental mistakes at key moments. I've always tended to have a level of patience with coaches but failure to get to 10 wins this year will be the last nail for Fisher.
