Late April and early May is typically a slower period on the recruiting calendar, but not for Texas A&M under Mike Elko as the Aggies have added two transfer portal players and six high school commitments in the last few weeks.

Since his November arrival in College Station, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has signed the 2024 recruiting class, made 19 transfer portal additions and kick-started the Aggie momentum with the 2025 class. All of this before Elko coaches his first game in Maroon & White.

Four have picked the Maroon & White during the spring portal window, with Joshua Celiscar, Kolinu'u Faaiu, Solomon DeShields and Shane Calhoun committing to A&M. Our recruiting duo of Jason Howell and Ryan Brauninger sat down to review some portal madness.
