Not a good showing by hurdle group on the 400h. Scott ran a 50.3 which placed him 11th. No Collins or McCray...not sure why they aren't running.

Kabongo ran a 59 and finished last by a lot in her 400h heat.

Besides Whitmarsh and our women's javelin group, pretty rough day in Florida for our teams. Question...could Whitmarsh run the 800 and the 1500 in the NCAA's? I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask those of you with more knowledge of what events are possible to double up on.

It is possible but extremely difficult and rare! They are on different ends of the schedule! But both will require a qualifying round a final! So that would be a 1500, 800, day off, 1500, 800! Then USA Nationals like a week or two later! I'd hope we can save his legs for that as well

Most of the time the 1500 is a sit and kick race, so that might not be too bad. I don't think they have him penciled in on the 4x4 relay either.

Hurdles wise we'll be fine if Jaqualon Scott stays one of the top 3 in the nation with Schulman top 3 or top 5 as well! We need Bryce McCray to score in the 400 hurdles though! Kirk Collins is coming off a year of not running after a leg injury
