I'd take it to a local locksmith. Up here in DFW I took mine to Michael's Keys and they did it for under $200 when the dealership wanted closer to $500

Ace hardware does them for quite a bit cheaper as well

There was a company called Car Keys Express that was doing them in the Costco parking lot in SA a couple weeks ago. Had a sprinter van mobile service, not sure price though.

Ace is the place!

I needed a new one, and the dealership wanted $480 for it. Ace hardware got me a quality FOB and programmed it for $240.

Not meaning to brag, but the warranty / maintenance plan I got with my Tacoma lets me get 1 free fob per calendar year until the plan is over.

But yeah, for my suburban Ace hooked me up much cheaper than the dealership
