12 hour total Leonard Rd at the Expo center.
2.99 inches
Between 11:30 and 12:15 I got 2" of that.
Flooded my back yard some, but it drained off by 4am.
Thompson Creek is pretty high right now. Especially the bend at the end of Leonard Rd by the Brazos River.

Walk softly and carry a big stick! Make sure the big stick makes big boom noises and flashy bright lights.

Based in emptying the gauge after it filled and then refilled we were almost 8" in Copperfield. 7" of it was in about 2 hours. It overwhelmed our drains and we had water in the house.
It was not a fun evening.

Bee creek runs behind my house and we had really bad street flooding since the storm drain could not empty into the creek.

Drove into a flooded road near campus and barely saw it in advance. Be careful out there.

The mosquitoes will be many and the size of small dogs with the agility of a gazelle once the rains are done.

The cicadas will eat up all the mosquitos when they start swarming the area very soon. We're next. The cicada storm is supposed to be biblical.scd88 said:

Shh. You can't question the integrity of the dome. That's how we get droughts.

Dang. I was at my place by big creek yesterday and was surprised how dry the ground was. Really hope that area gets a good soaking before summer sets in.
