Recruits read 77-0 and 62-14. Get real and a life.

If you lose a recruit b/c they saw this site you did a terrible job recruiting. If your locker room moral is hurt b/c of this board you already don't command the respect of the team and are a weak leader. Coaches families should know by now if you do poorly the fans will talk noise.

Since Fran got here all we are spoon fed is this team is young, wait it out. Sorry, but the best head coaches don't use excuses like that.

I hated the loss as much as anyone, but I am quite curious to hear what you think you deserve?

He means that he buys a ticket, or season tickets, based on the premise that what he will see is a competitive and entertaining product. That is what he means by "the fans deserve better". Neither of those two elements, competitiveness or entertainment, were present last night or much of last season which is why people are upset. I also think that Bill Byrne is the type of AD who judges a successful season based on the amount of tickets and season tickets he sells, not on wins, losses, and championships and unfortunately that is becoming far too common in college football these days.

I HATE HATE HATE the phrase, "we will be much better next year". People have been saying that since the end of RC's days. Well to me, next year was YEARS ago and I am sick of being the laughing stock of the Big 12.
And I agree, recruits may read this, but they are definitely seeing scores that reflect a team's performance. I would chose to go to OU or UT with a score of 16-13 rather than A&M who got dominated by a terrible team. Right now as a recruit, I would even consider Texas Tech (ugh).
I don't know what needs to change but it needs to be something! I am tired of being the butt of everyone's jokes.

I knew the reason rogin, we all see it enough and it is a faulty assumption.

They might even promise this kind of stuff to get bigger donations (we can't win unless you help us buy X), but in the end it is all promises no one can deliver.

I hope the players read this site. Hopefully they'll realize that there are a lot of people upset at the product that's being put on the field, and maybe it'll light a fire. Nothing like playing with a chip on your shoulder and an "us against the world" attitude. Enough cliches.

I agree, I hope they read this site. I have tried to be positive this year, but this team must be bipolar.

I haven't complained much about this current coaching staff (can't say the same about the previous one) but I think that "the fans" who support the team, pay the tickets, donate to the 12th man, provide the salary and the facilities do have a right to demand something. They may not have a right to demand national championships every year...but I think they ahve a right to demand better than 62-14 against one of the WORST teams in the Big 12.

unfortunately for all of us...i think a lot of people are actually getting used to seeing the travesty that is A&M football. a losing culture has taken over the program.

Recruits can recognize a steaming pile of crap, no matter how artfully it is described as a work-in-progress with a beautiful outcome to result.

This team is hurting my feelings with the pathetic displays of "football" I've seen recently.

This thread is pointless just like our program.

Actions speak louder than words. A&M football is lousy this year. The players know it, the recruits know it and the fans know it. What is said on texags is not going to change any minds out there or have any effect on what happens out on the football field. Quit the sunshine pumping and get real. A&M Football sucks, lets get excited about the basketball season.
