KIRO news here in seattle reported on us taking the issue to court. They interviewed some folks. Much ado about nothing they say. It means more to us than to them for sure. It appears that they are changing the slogan on merchandise, etc to the 12th Fan. Does this mean that there are more than 11 fans at a game?

That may get taken to court also. If we were crude like Paul Allen and his buddies.
But since we only care about our trademark it will be left alone.

So you are saying that type of trademark protection is not along the lines of Allen's beliefs?
I don't think MS has done a thing that Allen would not have done. Especially considering what they did to start MS.

I'm sure it's along the lines of thousands of businessmen's beliefs. My point was that Allen had jack squat to do with your Lindows example. For some reason a lot of people on here think he's still part of M$.

Perhaps some forward thinking Aggie could trademark “12th Fan”, and then let the Seahawks use it for a nominal fee/donation.

Funny thing is that "12th Fan" doesn't really mean anything. What is so different between the 1st FAN and the 12th FAN? Of course, if they want to use that term, I personally think it's fine..more power to 'em.
