Their go-to guys shoot the eyes out of the basket in crunch time. Ours (Carter in particular) brick about four out of five. Elonu is the only Ag that could crack their starting lineup. Their guards are head and shoulders better than anyone we have.

The front courts might be a push except that most of theirs can jump out of the gym, and most of ours can't.

Evidence is starting to mount that this Aggie team may not even be a first division team in the B12. I would say the chances of even going 8-8 now, are not good.

This team may have to get to the championship game of the B12 tourney in order to get to the ncaa's. I've been cautiously optimistic about this team most of the year, but I think we just simply don't have enough offensive talent to win consistently.

Of course, it ain't over until its over, but it ain't looking good right now, with four of our last seven on the road, where we have yet to win.

I agree with the assessment in that we are just too inconsistent to even think about the NCAA's right now. There is going to have to be a minor miricle for that to happen. We needed this game and blew it. I thought we played with some urgency at times, but never enough to warrent what was on the line. They dug their own hole here and the NIT is probably the result. I would love to see Turge get his kinds of players in here and see what they can do, but we have a little rebuilding to do this year, that is for sure...

Correction. KSU has the better coach. Period.

Hey, "Aggs" for life's thoughts on coach Turgeon? He hasn't let it be know yet in any other threads?

Seriously, it is too early for me at least to totally blame Turge. But we will count Aggs4life as a vote against Turge. A4L you should now be able to rest easier that your feelings are known and you don't need to post about it anymore...

Wow, if there is one thing I am certain about, it is that we have more talent than KSU. The "no talent" argument simply does not work with respect to KSU.

KSU is a very,very young team and will be a problem for years to come.

The only reason KSU was the better team today was because we let them come into our house and be the better team. We came out legarthic, couldn't make free throws, went close to 9 minutes without making a field goal, and despite all of this, we had a shot to win.
