I'm down for a road trip if someone else is driving. I can leave Friday at 6pm from Houston, but I gotta be back Monday by 7am. I have money for gas.
Not sure if I would want to stay across the street from the stadium, but it depends on what you want to do when baseball is not being played

Might head down, I get out of school on thursday, parents are just trying to decide if they want to, Biltmore is $200 a night and only 5 minutes away.

Debating whether to take the 4 hour drive down 75 through Alligator Alley or fly in Friday night - 40 minute flight from Tampa. I usually stay in the Coconut Grove area, which is less than 3 miles from campus & A-rod Park.
Hoping to see a good crowd of Aggies. There were 100+ Aggies in 2006 when Texas A&M played the #1 Gators in Gainesville.

Biltmore is awesome, but South Beach isn't that far away. The hotels should be priced right.

Side note - not sure what upgrades they have done since Ags were there in 95, but it was not the mecca of baseball that I was expecting. You guys lucky enough to make the trip, will have to let us know.

The baseball stadium is fairly far away from downtown Miami....I was surprised. We took a trip over there to check it out when we went down for the football game in '07.
I'd put it on par with UH's stadium in terms of how it feels and how modern it is.

I made the trip over for the A&M-Miami football game a few years ago....didn't get a chance to make it by the baseball field...but was told it was a ways away from south beach and downtown Miami.

That mascot looks like somthing you would see at Chuck E Cheese.
FYI if you get a marg on ocean dr. don't be shocked when the ticket is $25 per.
UM is in the south part of miami, roughly 7 miles south of the airport and about 8 miles from south beach where you have to go thru downtown and get on One to go south. If anyone is flying FT Lauderdale airport is much nicer and easier to get to. I would say about 35 miles from UM
