This thread is turning into a "whos who" of TexAgs posters that predicted an Aggie domination in the football game last November . . . there's Nactown to write that JJ and CO. were the superior players and offensive threat (JJ threw twice as many INTs in that game as Griffin did all season), then there's JDCAG, who predicted that A&M would outperform OU, UT, Tech, Mizzou, Nebraska and hang 45 points on Baylor and win 42-20 (great prediction, just got the teams wrong on the score is all).
Here is an actual scouting report:
The team is bipolar to the nth degree. If they play as they did during conference play, they'll jack up shots early, won't move the ball around, and won't recover on defense. It'll be the easiest win of the season for Auburn.
If Baylor plays like they have the last 2 weeks, they'll play a pretty decent (not great) 2-3 zone (non-matchup) that is very vulnerable in the high post because we don't have heigth at the top line. Offensively, Baylor will not pass up an open shot (even Lomers). They shoot around 38% from 3 for the season, and actually will rebound well given their size. Baylor's guards are on par with any team's in the NIT, though they are lacking quality post players (understatement of the year). They will try to work the ball to Lomers early to alleviate ball pressure. We don't drive the ball as much as we look for creases to take shots.
I don't know Auburn well at all, so I have no idea how they will matchup. Baylor isn't a worldbeater, but they have played very well in the past 2 weeks.
PS: Drew is whiny, its annoying. But JDCAG has nothing but smoke to blow when he claims Drew will have Baylor on probation in the next few years . . . unless he quotes "intimate sources".
