Sat both of their starters (who are difference makers, play makers!) were benched due to injury? Story? Status for this week anywhere yet?

Talked to a friend that plays at iowa state and he said right now both are doubtful. I would imagine each one is a game-time decision. From reading the message boards, they lost a defensive back to a broken leg, and one of their safeties got ejected from the game and will be required to sit out the first half.

And apparently none of this had an effect on the game.

Iowa State had 239 yards of offense and scored 9 points...3 off a 4 yard drive and the other 6 when they broke a 47 yard pass.

(That was against a Cornhusker defense that went into the game giving up over 400 yards and about 12 points a game)

It's just hard to lose when you are on the good side of 8 turnovers.

Iowa State benefited from an 8-0 turnover margin in Lincoln. Now, one would assume that Iowa State had something to do with that stat... but if we protect the football I like our chances... especially if Jerome Tiller is at the controls for Iowa State. He QB'ed some horrible SA Lee teams. He'll remember how to lose soon enough.
