Guys...linked above is all of the latest information regarding ESPNU's updated Top 150 rankings, which were released earlier today.

Here are a few short-hand notes for you, saving you a little time in having to sift through the list to find A&M commits, targets and Texas prospects:

-Three Aggie commits made the list...Corey Nelson (46), Jake Matthews (53) and Luke Joeckel (83).

-Two other players that you might call A&M targets were named as well...Ahmad Dixon (15) and Mike Davis (54). I know that Dixon and Davis are both committed elsewhere but those are the closest names that you could label "targets" that are on the list.

-Here is the entire list of Texans on the list:
-Jackson Jeffcoat (1) -- Uncommitted
-Darius White (9) -- Uncommitted
-Taylor Bible (14) -- Texas
-Ahmad Dixon (15) -- Baylor
-Lache Seastrunk (29) -- Uncommitted
-Shaun Lewis (40) -- Oklahoma State
-Ashton Dorsey (44) -- Texas
-Corey Nelson (46) -- Texas A&M
-Jake Matthews (53) -- Texas A&M
-Mike Davis (54) -- LSU
-Chris Jones (68) -- Texas
-Chad Lindsay (74) -- Alabama
-Quentin Hayes (75) -- Oklahoma
-Luke Joeckel (83) -- Texas A&M
-Reggie Wilson (88) -- Texas
-Tevin Jackson (89) -- Texas
-Cam Feldt (93) -- Arkansas
-Adrian White (102) -- Texas
-Aaron Benson (115) -- Texas
-Toney Hurd Jr. (119) -- Notre Dame
-Carrington Byndom (121) -- Texas
-Adrian Phillips (128) -- Texas
-Trey Hopkins (137) -- Texas

-An astounding 10 Longhorns made the list. No real surprise, considering the talent they have committed for the 2010 class.

-The in-state prospect who made the biggest jump up the rankings between the first release and the latest version was Garland's Tevin Jackson, who went from 104 to 89 (15 spots). After Jackson, the next highest jump was made by A&M commit Jake Matthews. Jake originally came in at 65 but is now at 53. I could see Matthews crack the top 40 before signing day.

-OU commit Sheldon McClain was No. 125 in the original rankings, but was taken off due to injury.

-The State of Texas had a total of 23 players in the Top 150.

Have fun looking through the list...I figured this would be of interest to most of you on a Wednesday afternoon.

Boone is from Florida. The list that I made is of Texas high school Football players...not players who are committed to Texas schools.

Thanks.

interesting that OU only has 1 and may only end up with 2-3 of those 23...

The list is of players from Texas...not players with fat girlfriends.

Thanks, Gabe.

45 or so of the Top 150 are uncommitted, but only 3 of the state's top recruits have yet to give a verbal (and it's been that way for some time in this class). It just goes to show how early recruiting has moved up in the state of Texas.

Gabe,

Any chance that another Aggie might slip into that top 150, if so who would it be?

Dixon is committed to Baylor? Well, that shouldn't last long.

How can girlfriends be both fat and little?

Bubba...my best guess would be that Fobbs is the closest to reaching the top 150. He's got to be pretty close.

After that, it could be a fast rising Shep Klinke or maybe even Hicks or Askew.

But Fobbs would be my first guess.

It is still ridiculous that we lost out on Dorsey to the sips. How does that happen?

From what I have heard it is essentially a TX USC battle with Oklahoma and Cougar High running at 3a and 3b. That said I think he ends up at OU. His sister plays bball there... I just don't see him in Austin. I would love to see it though.

Supposedly his mom is worried about him going to Houston to play for his dad because she isn't sure how well or if that would work. Plus if Sumlin leaves soon (dad) Jeffcoat could go with him. It's just not a stable place becuase it's a stepping stone.

Actually, 11 longhorns made it if you count Cobbs from Oklahoma.

12 and 13 could be #1 Jeffcoat and #2 Hicks (top 2 for both).

Really solid classes for both Texas and Texas A&M this year.
