I'm sure he and the Horns think it's funny...

...but at the end of the night, they ultimately expended all the money and effort to go to the game in a sheep costume and look like an idiot.

it's pretty lame...not nearly as creative as the bear that was dressed up for the football game seriously tho, that guy's pathetic...

How original.

Guess he has plans on going back to the tu frat house later and...............you know

well i wouldn't call him a low-life...i mean it's not like he's a criminal....he's just pathetic...he probably is a freaking queer frat boy tho....it's so hard to listen to those guys on the bus try and talk sports...i heard one of them say today that TJ hurt his ankle last year playing a pick up game in gregory, and that boddicker was our best player....

Guess we should have someone dress in drag when they come to Reed next year. I know we wont stoop to that level, but it would be kinda funny. (please dont get on to me. I'm not really suggesting this)

What makes you think he is dressed like a sheep... it's probably real and is one of the horn's dates.

He was holding a sign that said "Baaahhh means NO!" It was funny as heck. Even my Aggie friends with me at the game were laughing. You guys need to lighten up.

In regards to the cow.... for whatever reason... it has become popular for the first few rows of students in the zones to dress up in costumes. There was a sheep and indeed there was a cow. Also a gorilla and an incredible hulk...

The sheep sign said "Baaa means no" and the cow sign said "Hands off A g g y"

I laughed.
But then we got killed and nothing was funny

Well, I saw it on the TV. The udder was not anatomically correct. That stupid 'sip would fail Freshman Animal Science.

I am sorry...i cant stand tu and their band-waggon approach to athletic...BUT, a guy in sheep outfit with a sign that says "Baaah means NO" is funny as hell and pretty creative.

Loosen up...thats the kind of stuff rivalries do to each other. Like when tu used to have the "eATMe"...a pretty good slam on our school, pretty creative, and pretty funny from their perspective (and ours if you are not up-tight and have a sense of humor). Oh well..

Well, it was supposed to be a female cow, not a bull, obviously. As evidenced by the mascot guy in the steer costume going over during a timeout and grinding with the ladycow.

The sign was funny.

I never understood the whole sheep thing though. Pretty dumb, and unoriginal.
I hear sheep calls every other year when I go to the A&M vs. tu game. Seems like it's something for someone to fall back on, that either knows nothing about sports, or can't talk smack.

That is the funniest thing I've ever heard...give them A+ for creativity. I don't usually think the sheep thing is funny, but THAT takes the cake.

Not to flame... and i know i'll get in trouble for even bringing this up... but perhaps some of you younger aggies need a quick refresher on why the sheep thing comes up time and time again. Back in the day an Aggie was actually caught making 'love' to a sheep. This was a single incident - I know 99.9999999% of Aggies don't do this. Unfortunately all it took was that one guy and OF COURSE as your rival we are gonna take that kinda story and run. You would have done the same.
Oveta
How long do you want to ignore this user?
beyond any single incident, it wasnt that abnormal for young country kids to partake in animal lovin' and since A&M is reputed to be all a bunch of hicks people joke that we like sheep - pretty common at any agricultural school.

'baaaa means no' is rather amusing, imo

Stuck ---

That is the single dumbest thing I have ever heard. Don't come on our board and make up crap.

For those that don't know....it's not tied to any single incident. It is something that is associated with Farmers/Agriculture type people. A&M being the Ag school for many years (ie. "Farmers Fight" ) , horns thought it would be funny to start making sheep jokes.

PS -- Im not a "younger Aggie."

99,
first off I post on here all the time and most of your aggie peers know i don't do it to 'flame' like many others do...

second, what occured is a fact. i wish i remembered the details, but i don't. BUT I DO REMEMBER A BIG DEAL BEING MADE OF THE INCIDENT. It is the single reason why this cheer has passed the test of time.

Has a UT student ever done something that awful - with 50,000 students on campus the chances are 'yes'. Has a UT student been caught doing it - not that I'm aware of.

Listen... there is a reason why I said that I know most of y'all aren't like that... but what happened, happened... and as your rival we are gonna take that kinda material and run with it.

Stuck--

I dont care if you post here all the time or not. Show me proof, or dont make up crap.

The 'sheep' thing....isn't exclusively an Aggie thing. It's ignorant to think otherwise. tu fans say it to us, because of our Ag heritage.

Im not going to argue, but dont make up stories, and back it up by...."I do remember a big deal.."

I'm an Aggie with the thinnest skin ever and the funniest part of this thread is fgtntexag07 saying he/she has "never seen a sheep before."

FYI: A sheep is a four-legged farm animal that is raised for meat and fur. This is where we get lambchops and wool.

P.S. I'm typing slow because you probably cannot read fast.
