The most popular question since launching the TexAgs Podcast has been "What the heck is a Podcast?". A Podcast is two things really: first, and most importantly, it is a talk radio style audio program. It is distributed in the form of a simple mp3 audio file and can be downloaded to your computer and played with any audio player (Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc.).

Secondly, and what makes a Podcast unique, is the ability for individuals to subscribe to any future audio programs that are published for a given Podcast. There are programs, like iTunes and iPodcast, that allow you subscribe to a Podcast so that new programs are downloaded to your computer (or iPod) without your intervention. It's basically a radio style audio program that comes to you.

Don’t be scared off by the fancy sounding term Podcast. If you can listen to audio on your computer you most likely can listen to the TexAgs Podcast. Just download an episode to your computer and enjoy.
