On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as No. 1 Aggie baseball took the series vs. No. 20 Georgia, four Aggies were drafted in Detroit and much more.

Football

  • Edgerrin Cooper drafted to the Green Bay Packers (45th overall)
  • McKinnley Jackson drafted to the Cincinnati Bengals (97th overall)
  • Layden Robinson drafted to the New England Patriots (103rd overall)
  • Ainias Smith drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles (152nd overall)
  • Demani Richardson signed as a UDFA with the Carolina Panthers
  • Josh DeBerry signed as a UDFA with the Dallas Cowboys
  • Nik Constantinou signed as UDFA with the Denver Broncos
  • Earnest Crownover invited to New Orlean Saints minicamp
  • Sam Mathews invited to Chicago Bears minicamp
  • Potentially more UDFA to come as there were more Aggies who declared for the draft like Max Wright

Mike Elko & Co. added to their 2025 recruiting class with a pledge from cornerback Jamar Beal-Goines‍ out of Desert Edge High School in Phoenix, Arizona.

Beal-Goines chose the Aggies over the likes of USC, Utah, Oregon, Missouri and many more.

Baseball
Your top-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies took yet another Southeastern Conference series, this time, against the No. 20 Georgia.

  • 4 homers on Friday, 2 from Ted Burton on Friday: 5-2 W
  • Saturday Game 1: Possibly the craziest comeback in A&M history. Aggies came back from a nine-run first inning to run-rule the Dawgs in seven frames, 19-9.
  • Fell in finale, 5-4.

The Aggies conclude their five-game homestand with a midweek contest against Tarleton Tuesday night at 6 p.m.

Track & Field

  • 2 wins at the Penn Relays: 4x400 and 4x800 teams both won
  • These two victories added to head coach Pat Henry’s Penn Relay wins, as he now holds 28 while leading the Aggies and has won 66 total across his head coaching career.

Men's Golf
The No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies topped the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers in quarterfinal action, 3-2, before dropping a 3.5-1.5 decision to the No. 2 Vanderbilt Commodores in the semifinals during Saturday’s doubleheader of match play at the SEC Men’s Golf Championship.
