Christopher Cortez earns honor of being SEC's Co-Pitcher of the Week
After tossing 8.1 scoreless innings of relief across two different appearances, Texas A&M right-hander Christopher Cortez has been named the SEC's Co-Pitcher of the Week. Earning victories in wins over UTSA and Vanderbilt, Cortez struck out a total of 15 batters on the week.
Series Preview: Aggies & Commodores battle in top-10 weekend series
Winners of nine of their last 10, the third-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies will take on the sixth-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The top-10 meeting marks the first in Aggieland since the 2016 matchup between the Aggies and Commodores.
