SMU transfer guard Zhuric Phelps commits to Texas A&M basketball
Buzz Williams and the Fightin' Texas Aggies have received the commitment of former SMU guard Zhuric Phelps. A senior with one final season of eligibility, Phelps becomes the third to join the Aggies' transfer portal class along with C.J. Wilcher and Pharrel Payne.

Buzz Williams & Co. have added their second transfer portal addition of the current window in Minnesota transfer forward Pharrel Payne. A 6-foot-9 sophomore in 2023-2024, Payne comes to College Station with two years of eligibility remaining.
