Supermassive tornado down in Iowa with a funnel over a mile wide, storm chasers getting great film of it.

8 tornados confirmed in this outbreak so far.

Holy **** some of that footage is wild. Really hope somehow it managed to avoid people and structures.

They were remarkably calm during that, but I guess a train is actually a pretty good place to be short of an F5.

This might sound messed up, but one of the items on my bucket list is to storm chase to see a tornado in real life - from a distance of course. Don't want the bucket to come visit me right at that time.

Wow, my wife drove back from Tulsa right through that stuff. She said it was bad but I didn't think it was That bad.
