Background: This is B/w George West and Alice in Live Oak county. We do have a large trophy Axis buck on the place we have been able to keep around for the past 4-5 years.

So, is this large young whitetail or an Axis doe? What are the OBs thoughts?

Normal in April and May here in Leon county Tx.

Which i don't know if a good thing or not that they are getting bred mid October to beginning November range.

We have some born 1st week of June but most in May here ive noticed. Had one in April and counted days back to Oct 15th conception.

Yea here in Llano county about the same. In south Texas more drop in July than June. Seems Mother Nature screwed that one up, it gets awful hot in July.
