Higher NET Ranking for the Aggies - #41 for the Aggies vs #47 for Miss St.

Beat them by 16 points head to head to end their season. We led by 22 points midway through 4Q.

Aggies also beat Cal NET 59(might have been the difference)

we beat Kentucky in RUPP NET 149 they split but lost @HOME (HUGE)
both teams lost to Vandy NET 56(not a terrible loss)

both teams beat Ole Miss NET 36

we beat Tennessee NET 30
they beat LSU NET 8

Aggies beat the Southland Conference champ A&M Corpus Christ NET 169(shouldn't matter but they're at the prom just like us so it does)

A&M top100 NET wins: vs30, vs36, vs38, vs45, vs47(them) vs59 vs75 @85 vs87(UNT who would've thought)

MSU top100 NET wins: vs8 vs36 @41(us) @60 @78(Belmont) @75 vs91 vs 95 vs98 vs100(JSU)

A&M: 9 top 100 wins
MSU:10 top 100 wins

A&M: 5 top 50 wins
MSU: 3 top 50 wins

MSU worst loss: home vs UK NET 149
A&M worst loss: @ UGA NET 95

bottom line is the committee saw two teams in the middle of the sec 1-1 head to head, MSU had the best win of the resumes but also (by far) the two worst losses., so what they usually do is say ok lets remove each teams best win and worst loss at which point they have the same best win while the worst loss for MSU is 106 and the Aggies worst loss would be 72(Mizzou) Bulldog fans surely thought the LSU win was enough to get them inb but The ***** the armor of MSU's resume was still that loss to Kentucky @ home. They had their chance on day one of the SEC tourney to get another top 50 win, the 8/9 matchup is always supposed to be the most evenly matched but 9 came out on top and those two losses sent MSU to the WBIT

One thing that won't be talked about enough is how quietly decent the Aggies non conference schedule was this season. Beat the top 2 teams in the SLC(Lamar) and the tourney champ(AMCC), played 3 top 80 teams and went 2-1 against them, no huge names, but the Kansas chip shined just enough that the difference in our resumes was hmmm ...

Also, A&M took some loses while we were without our point guard. Committee takes that into consideration, IF, they are back in form at the end of the year. A negative example of this is Florida on the men's side. They rated a higher seed but may have gotten dinged with the significant talent loss due to injury in the SEC championship game. A loss that will NOT be back for the tournament.
