I think under Sherman he has a great chance to learn an NFL offense and become valuable to NFL scouts & coaches. What do you think?

Also I think that everybody is underrating & disrespecting the aggies. How can you look past a team with an NFL coach. Stephen will lead these boys to a Big 12 championship. Just wait & see.

He was a throwing quarterback in high school. If he throws again he can prove what he's got. Much the same as if Reggie had come out after throwing the ball his junior year, he would have been a second rounder. You guys severely underestimate how much difference one year makes.

He would have to break some Texas Tech passing records. Then a whole lot of luck and he might be a 2nd rounder.

I don't think a sane GM would take him at all. He likes contact. The risk of serious injury would limit him to being a FA at best.

Stephen McGee will be the #2 pick, right behind me. I might not play in the NFL though, I still have to wait and see where I get picked in the NBA draft

I like Stephen as much as the next Ag does, but he doesn't appear to have next level passing talent. The times we ran passing plays (except vs. t.u.) he didn't seem to be capable of finding the open man. For those that say there were none, you are wrong.

I am looking forward to improvement from him this year and wish him the best in all things. A year can definitely do wonders for draft standing. Given significant improvement, he may be a second day draft pick.

SM could do it. Jay did it. It probably wont happen but it is possible. He would probably do well in a combine type situation pending his arm strength. Stats won't matter much but he needs to have better ones. If he goes for 3,000 yards and 60% with 20+TDs and less than 10 int, it could easily happen.

Cutler didn't come out of nowhere. Jay Cutler was predicted to be a 2nd-3rd round draft pick before his senior season...
