i just dont feel like lsu wants michael or he would be there already. since we are in the top 2, i think we get him. i have my doubts about the rest of the bunch though....

Carroll is ALOT higher than 10 %, we do have one of the BEST track programs in the nation, and the BEST track coach in the nation...

there's other components in play for the guy, and speaking from known info. he is very interested in Texas A&M.

loston is the only guy i'd just be absolutely ecstatic w/ in terms of needs.

If the Ags get Michael and Loston, when was the last time they got TWO five stars in the same season? I can't remember any off hand. Almost never get a five star. Tellus is the only one I can remember. Was Reggie a five? Don't think so.

I believe Reggie was also a 5 star, but it would be awesome to get loston and michael. Please come guys, we want you to play for our great and upcoming team.

Michael 40%, It just seems silly to put him over 50% when he has stated we are his #2 choice.
Loston 30%, Decent shot if he decommitts from Clemson.
Carroll 5%, This will drop to below McFarland when he figures out we don't run the spread. The main reason we are still in contention for him is because he thinks we do.
McFarland .01%, It will take the shut down of a lot of programs before we get him.

our season will effect those percentages. I woulnd't waste any energy on these guys until signing day, even if one or two do committ before that.

A&M does have a track team, trust me that is a huge selling point, that's all I'm saying..

and I'm saying it after I talked to my friend, whom I'm visiting in CA...who may be a a relative of a certain athlete.

Michael I think at this point is ours to lose.

the longer it takes Michael, the harder it will be to pull him in. Especially if he takes all 5 officials, which he is. I dont think he's our to lose by any means, and I dont think our chances with him are as NEAR as high as most of you think

I do think we have about a 40 per cent at Loston, though. I would say the same with Michael. And less than 5 per cent for the other 2.

FtBend, I actually think the longer Michael is uncommitted, the better our chances.

The way LSU had treated him, yet he is still high on them makes me think deep down he really wants to be a Tiger instead of an Aggie.

Yet, he is still not committed to LSU. The longer it stays that way, the more I think Michael will start to rethink LSU, and the chances for another school will improve.

And by all accounts, while he might take all 5 visits, it's really down to Texas A&M and LSU.

Reggie was 5* and I believe he was the highest 5* we've landed. He was the #1 player in the nation during his junior year (I believe) and (again, I believe) at this point of the year going into his senior year.

He was moved to #1 athlete I believe and VY moved up to #1 QB by the end of their senior years.

I had a guy in my dorm from Lufkin who was talking about Reggie so I started doing some searches and that is how I found out about these recruiting sites and I've been an addict ever since.

i don't really know anything other than what i read on here but it sounds like cm is lsu's backup plan and we are cm's backup plan, which may give us a higher % on him but doesn't seem real promising.

loston i would guess is about 35-40%, given his prior commitment and recent interest

i think it was one thing to win a recruiting battle over usc for a local product (when they were basically full at rb) but it is something totally different to beat them out for one of their own. i agree with the track incentive but can only hope that he loves his track & field more than he loves his football.

i don't even consider mcfarland

Loston- 50% I believe it will become an A&M-lsu battle

Michael- 70% As long as we are his back up plan and lsu continues to slow play him, you gotta like our chances

Carroll- 20% As long as we are one of his visits, I give us a good of a chance as any

really i just hope that lsu gets whoever they are holding out for so they can "give" us cm. i don't think it matters that they are slow playing him, he obviously realizes this now but still prefers to hold out and wait to see if they will take him.

Where does this "We are CM's second choice" stuff come from? I don't have a paid recruiting subscription, but everything I have read has Michael saying that if signing day were tomorrow, he would be an Ag because he likes the school and staff. Are there any quotes from him saying that he would commit to LSU if offered?

I understand he is still high on LSU even though they haven't given him a "committable offer," but it seems to me he is just taking a hard look at an NCAA champion that is less than 4 hours away. He still has a full season to play, so maybe he is just weighing his options. Why do some think that he is 100% LSU if he gets an offer?

Maybe he said he's a Tiger and I have just missed it.
