So, my boys have been playing an xBox One for a long time. We knew the day would come, and it has arrived. Games are being released, exclusive to newer consoles. It's part of life so no complaining.

So, we are in need of an upgrade.

Should I go with an S or X? X is expensive, but will the S become obsolete soon?

Okay, what about deals? The best I see is $450 at Target.

Yeah, console pricing really hasn't budged since the PS and Xbox released the new ones 3-4 years ago. $50 off deals are pretty much the best you are going to get until maybe black Friday.

I too would vouch for the X. Depending on what type of TV you have and how old the kids are, they might not be able to tell a difference between the two.... but the X is going to be relevant a whole lot longer so your $ will go farther with it.
