Is that still an option? Thought it was dead?

Not a fan of people losing their property. But I understand that the longer we wait to build reservoirs, the more it's going to hurt.

The BRA doesn't even mention it anymore. The land acquisition and mitigation for oil wells etc make it prohibitively expensive the last time it was visited 8 yr ago or so. Imagine those cost now. It did not make the 2022 recommended new reservoirs list in the Texas State Water Plan.

Yeah all those new subdivisions. And the tax value increases on them every year. Maybe they can build something in West Texas instead. Get rid of some windmills maybe.
