It's been out for 2 days. Is this normal? A technical issue or are they negotiating again? I ain't ready to cut the cord yet but I'm close.

No idea (cut the cord long ago, now im pretty sure i pay more for all my streaming than i would for cable).
But do you have Paramount+? If so, you can access KBTX live through there...

Oh great - I have Paramount+ as well for Yellowstone. I probably pay just as much for streaming as I do for the cord. I need everything for sports.histag10 said:

You could likely pay less than cable for Sling or YouTubeTV and still retain sports access
There is too much of a delay with streaming. I have Frontier and it's not good enough. Actually nothing is better than cable right now. I don't think we'll see it faster than cable for at least 10+ years.histag10 said:

What's worth watching on KBTX that you can't get from their website or social media?
The small external antennas work great.
We use Direct Stream and get the Houston market.

You can also uncurl a paperclip and stick it in the antenna port and you will get local channels...

lol - that was a joke man. It's the only local news. It just sets my internal clock to shut it down after the news.
Download the KBTX app on your device or through a TV input (we use AppleTV and Roku). Not a perfect solution but you can watch live versions of all of their newscasts or watch the most recent one that's aired.

I'm on direct Stream (still way less than SubOptimum) and it's still out today. Maybe Rusty Surette will wander in here to check on the local news.
