starting to get a little separation between the top 5 and the remaining field. Ultimately that is what matters...survive and advance after 3 days.
At the finish, we are -1 and #6 Ohio State is +6. That 7 stroke difference is everything.
The top 5 teams advance to the National Championship tournament. Whether you go as the winner of your regional or the #5 qualifier makes no difference. Of course, it would be nice to win, and frankly our ladies got a huge break playing at home. But the only real goal is to advance.

Interesting that they're playing #15 as a par 4 and #18 as a par 5.
Is that the usual setup for women's events out there?

Any suggestions on the best area to watch if you're not following a specific group? I know there's the shared green, but nothing else comes to mind in being able to go from one hole to another rather easily.

making it really stressful on themselves now. Gonna be a 3 team dogfight for the last spot.
And we're playing with the leaders...not those teams we're battling, making it even more challenging.
Pretty inexcusable on your home course.

Cata just birdied 5. Our first birdie of the day. We've played a total of 23 holes thus far.
I believe our coach said the front 9 plays harder than the back 9. We are playing the front 9 and Ohio State and Vanderbilt are playing the back 9 first.

Yep. I think we're still in good shape overall to make the top 5.

Clemson is playing the front 9 well, but everyone is doing well on the back 9. We just need to get another shot or two back on the front and then watch as others , especially Vandy and Ohio St falter on the front 9.
Back is playing easier than the front, but it isn't like we are playing the front nicely in comparison. We have definitely given back a lot to the course this morning.

Zoe has been a liability this year... sucks because I know she has been good for us in the past

They are trying to battle back. 5th place by 1 stroke over Ohio St. currently.
Now 2 shots clear of Ohio State who had a player hole out for eagle on a par 4!
Must have been a great shot. Unless she had 280-290 in the bag to clear the creek on #4 she holed out from 120-130 plus.
