Let me put it this way, I rather be the #9 seed if OU is the #8 then be a Top 8 Seed and have teams like Wake Forest, East Carolina, Florida St. Oregon St., Mississippi St. etc. as the host of our paired regional. They do not deserve a Top 8
If OU ends up 8 & Indiana St 9 I may have a literal **** fit.W said:
it will be interesting to see where D1 projects the Sooners this week
FSU and ECU opened the door for OU to get in there
if OU is not top 8, then maybe Indiana State sneaks in
I think they've tried but haven't had any takers.10Aggie10 said:
The SEC finally updated their standings on the website so Georgia and South Carolina W's & L's are correct
Q: why doesn't Florida go out and "buy" a home or away game for Tuesday to hopefully pick up an extra W and give a little wiggle room? They've only played 51 with 3 remaining

updating after 52 games:W said:
thanks to the midweek win against Rice
the 2015 and 2024 teams are even again after 49 games:
2015 ---> 41-8
2024 ---> 41-8
due to a few rainouts the 2015 club finished 43-10 in the regular season

still hard to believe that a 43-9 team managed to miss out on a national seed
but the committee got infatuated with Missouri State
(the '15 team loses game #53 to finish the regular season)
They finally got around to updating it this morning. I guess the computer went to bed early last night.aginlakeway said:threeanout said:I could be wrong, but I don't think Nolan has updated our win. I thought we would move up to the two slot.aginlakeway said:
We're still 3 in RPI.
I think it's updated. It has current records for the teams. Georgia passed us.

We were also 5 or 6 RPI if I recall in 2015. We got hosed.
