Honestly though...if the guy is intent on killing himself, why try to stop him? It avoids the cost of a trial and a lengthy imprisonment.

Thank you TexAgs. Sadly, I didn't know about the magnificent car chase until about 10 minutes after he hit the water. But after spending the last 30 minutes reading the thread, I was able to get the play-by-play and a link to some taped footage.

I only wish I saw it live.
