In a way, it's kind of perfect. You're absolutely correct, he has gone full blown rad-lib. But to those not paying attention (probably a majority of Americans) he's just a harmless old man who won't be associated with radical marxism.

Just like there are moderate republicans. That said, the far left is leaching off of the moderate dem voters, and the two really shouldn't be grouped together. So if they could be separated, perhaps the far left dies off. No?

There are no more "moderate" dems for the DNC has purged them. The DNC runs the party and no candidate will ever get elected without their approval..

Can understand the thought. But Sanders is an avowed commie/socialist. He was very close to being the candidate. AOC (same) was called the "future of the party" by the DNC head. The left isn't leaching off moderates. They are/control the dem party now. Trump is a NY democrat and is considered "far right". Sure if we go by the way the media claims is "moderate," then there are some moderates in that party. But moderate to the media is Bidenish.

There's no such thing as a moderate democrat anymore. Case in point, my rural town had two Cilfornian brothers move in about a decade ago. They had money, bought some land, and started farming and running cattle. They'll turn Republican in a few years everyone said. 10 years ago these guys were moderate democrats, now they fill up my Facebook feed with abortion on demand petitions and anything bad that FJB has done is REALLY because of trump. They're insufferable lemmings now, and I really think they are a microcosm of the left in general. No critical thinking, never once will they admit that capitalism got them to where they are, just dems good, reps bad. That's it
