Bubba’s Buffalo burgers are good and so are Willie’s. However, the best in town is Pappa’s Burgers but they are a little pricey.

If you want the biggest, go to Mel’s in Tomball and try the one with 2 lbs of patties, one pound of bacon and all the fixins.

Went and tried 5 Guys out on 59 South (Richmond area) last week. They had a pretty good burger. If you are out in Katy, Texas Traditions makes a good one as well. Pappa's is good, as well as Becks. Can't go wrong with any of those. I will need to get to Bubba's and try their buffalo burger.

Yep we do have 5 Guys Burgers and Fries in Texas now. Mike Mosley (former Ag QB) and his daughter own several of them. we are neighbors with the daughter.

If Lankford's burgers had the buns of a Christian's burger, it would be the perfect burger. Last time I went to Mel's to try the burger there they were closed early... still looking forward to that one

Also, Miller's in the medical center makes a delicious juicy burger

good point. the one thing i hate about Lankfords is the cold bun.

went to texas traditions last night. the frisco burger was gigantic. pretty tasty too.

not technically Houston but Tookies in Seabrook, hands down has the best burger I have ever tasted.

Just had my first experience at Bubba's 30 min ago. Buffalo Border Burger gets a definite thumbs up from me. I will be going back soon.

I love the buffalo burger at barnabys. I'll have to try that at bubbas. I can't picture the location though.

I've always enjoyed a good Christian's burger from time to time. Prince's is awesome too.

Haven't been to Bubbas since the smoking ban. I remember it was a dump and very smoky. Food was blahhh.

I think that we have been talking about 2 different Bubba's. The original one brought up (by pv I think) is the one just outside 610 on Westpark and it is darn near under the Westpark tollroad. This one is very small and only 3-4 tables inside. Most people eat on the rickety old tables outside. This place is the one that stakes their claim on their buffalo burger.

The other is Bubba's on Westcott, just south of I-10. They too make a fine burger. This is a bigger place and used to be the meeting place for Tennessee Vol fans.

Personally, I perfer the one on westpark over the one on westcott.

Yup, the Wescott Bubbas.

I wish Charlie's was still open in NW Houston off of 2920... Those were some of the best burgers...

2. Bubba's on Westpark under the freeway
3. Lankford Grocery.

All are good, and I have been to all many times, however, Christian's is definitely the best in my book.
