This entire theory rests on the idea that the sips wanted to kill a conference they rule like a banana republic. Doesn't pass muster to me.

Why would t.u. want to see the end of the BigXII? The BigXII is the easiest road to the MNC for them. They already control the league and are in revenue heaven.
