The HLSR definitely lives by the motto
" You can shear an animal many times but you can only skin it once "

I am curious if the other tour stops are as expensive of course not curious enough to log in to Ticketmaster and price tickets for the Indianapolis date but still slightly curious

You can get floor seats in Charlotte, Jacksonville, or Salt Lake for $300-500.

Aggies have been known to pay ridiculous prices for anything from head football coaching salaries to getting us to believe sitting in the end zone was something special. Buy a couple of CDs and spend the difference on a mini-vacation.

The TMF has clearly priced in the uniqueness of a concert at Kyle Field. I am sure some will be turned off by the obscene prices for the most premium of tickets but I doubt it actually hurts attendance at all.

Keep in mind, that despite a varied musical genre lineup HLSR has to sell 20+ days of back-to-back-to-back shows. They're hoping outside of the special interest shows to shear that sheep two or three times within a month.

I took my future wife to see George at HLSR 10 years ago, splurged and bought chute seats which puts you on the dirt floor next to the stage. Included BBQ dinner, open bar, and complimentary camping chairs. Think I paid $250/ea.

Yes, I am aware of inflation. But these prices feel a bit like extortion.

You might be misremembering. There was no dirt at the show.

If I hadn't gone to his past 3 shows at HLSR, I'd be more inclined to go to this one. I love George Strait, but if you've seen him once, you've seen him every time. Other than a little change here and there, his set list hasn't changed in a long time.

I'm bouncing around the Indianapolis show tickets and they seem to be slightly cheaper in general. They have "floor seats" that are sub-$300, but their stage is in the end zone and you're looking all the way across the field. Their upper deck seats are more than I paid for 35 yard line in 406.

Thanks for the knowledge in the round is definitely different than stage in one of the end zones Glad the tickets are expensive everywhere

Just curious: I'm assuming BMA box holders have to purchase concert tickets the equivalent of the capacity of their box? Wonder about that pricing. Also wonder if a box holder decides not to purchase concert tickets, does TMF sell that concert access to someone else?

Seems likely those would held back and "sold" to VIPs Governor Senator The Elko family etcetera

TMF was turned off by my obscene appearance fee when they called asking me to re-up my season tickets last summer.

Yes, the website said suite owners would be contacted about the purchase of their suite for the concert. If any suites are available, then there is a priority list that will be contacted next.

Just picked my seats at 2 PM. Nothing larger than a group of 3 in the 300s seat back home side or north endzone. Lots of premium floor seating, lots in the upper rows on top deck and student section.

Email went out about parking passes being available. Prices are actually pretty reasonable. About the same as football parking prices.

I also saw his "last" full concert at Reliant that was not part of a Rodeo but a extra night concert only event

A great night with my family which is how I want to remember George at the HLSR with my daughter who at the time had no idea that George was kind of a big deal

Any idea on resale policy for the donor presale tickets? I bought 2 but my wife will have just given birth a few week before so it depends on how she's feeling.

It's saying no mobile delivery until closer to the event and not eligible for seatgeek
AggieAces06

Not sure where you are seeing that they aren't eligible for seatgeek. The link in the email from the ticket confirmation has instructions on how to transfer them via phone number, and how to sell on seat geek.

There are already tickets being resold on stubhub, so I don't think you're going to have a problem selling if you have to.

Mine have this message. And that's the only link the email provided.

Mine too. But the link has the information on how to transfer them. You're just not going to have the actual digital ticket until 6 weeks before the concert. I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Awesome, thanks. I'm 80% sure we will end up going but it all depends on how the wife is feeling post-birth. It's a month after due date so who knows.

I just logged into my mobile app and the tickets are showing, but they don't have the actual "ticket" to get into the stadium. I attempted the "sell on seat geek" option and it didn't work, but then I tried the "transfer" option and it had all the tickets listed as available for transfer.

The seat geek may not work until the actual tickets are available.

Just FYI, looks like a bunch of seats were opened this morning. Use code THEKING to get in. Most are still $500 and up, but there are lots of field box seats open at the moment.

A few random upper deck bench seats for less than $300 are open too.

Just wait for the people that bought the max allowed presale to try to unload them. Could become a buyer's market when people don't want to pay secondary prices on tickets that were already 5x higher than they should have been.

Checked it today out of curiosity, with fees, a ticket at the top of the zone is $500. I wouldn't spend that even if I was a billionaire. You cant even see him from there.

The first 3 decks of HLSR are sold out to season ticket holders before the entertainers are even announced. A large percent being corporate sponsors.
