What a player this guy has been.

His ability to handle the ball and consistently get to the rim, even last night against a great defensive team, while also being an elite rebounder for a guard is a rare combination.

This guy has been a fantastic player. Seems like a real good dude as well.

If he could shoot a little better we might see him in the nba.

Hats off to a great player.

6'2" 190 but is a driving and rebounding animal.

The percentage of drives where he ended up prone on the floor is high. Very physical for his size, doesn't shy away from the bigs.

He was a little inconsistent, as far as scoring output, game to game but when in his groove was someone other team always had to account for.

He is absolutely not going to be easy to replace but this is and always has been the nature of the beast. Every team yr to yr has a different personality and dynamic and strengths and weaknesses. The emergence of Manny makes it somewhat less of a concern imo .

We are going to need another contributing big whether it's Marble or someone else and we need better outside shooters to stretch defenses and make us not so reliant on having to dominate the offensive boards game after game after game in order to be competitive. I love the board work but needing to get less offensive boards because we make a higher % of shots would be nice.

In one of the pregrame pressers UH Coach Sampson said that he believes that there is a place for someone with Boots' unique skill set on someone's NBA roster.

Would love to see that happen.
