Yeah based on what I am finding that part of the rule doesn't apply anymore. This is the last year those Covid-year freshmen are eligible.

I only ask because I keep a running SEC Roster turnover google doc for people for free. It's a great resource. Even had a SEC office employee tell me that they use it at the SEC office regularly in the offseason.

I am an Arkansas fan and A&M's scholarship breakdown the last few years has been difficult to figure out. Appreciate yall's help!

White came in as a walk-on with a likely NIL deal to make up for it. So that gives them flexibility to keep him as a "walk-on" or eventually give him a scholarship

Based on the moaning on the gopher's board I'd say this is a positive addition. Many there are blaming NIL but we haven't exactly been noted for big hoops NIL deals. I lean towards this was a fit between our program and program leadership and this particular player. I'm not saying that NIL may not have been a factor but it seems if that was the primary driver there are better candidates for getting this particular player.
