No disagreement that there is a lot that isn't easily quantifiable in terms of stress and pitch selection, but there is a reason the you see less of it in the big leagues as well. There is value to being able to do it in a close game, but station to station baseball trying to put up a crooked number is statistically the optimal strategy.
