The first season of "number racing" was 1991, my freshman year. There was a small group that stood in the front row of section 205 and would hold a poster facing the pressbox "Send number racing back to Austin!"

Then is became letter racing. At one point after that, it was condiment racing. Don't remember when it became meat products.
