There's nothing wrong with the plate umpire as far as I can tell. I didn't watch the first inning but I haven't seen him miss a pitch other than one slightly outside he called a strike. In fairness, it could have gone either way.

Agreed. Umpire hasn't been bad. My comment is about the fan that thinks these inside pitches are strikes because of the angle he is sitting at. He can only see up/down and not in/out so he looks silly complaining on the inside pitches.

That's why I haven't been complaining about high/low this season when I'm there. I have a great view for inside/outside but I can't see through Blue.
