CLANGA has a shot to backdoor their way into a host spot if they can win this series versus Alabama. The travel to Fayettenam next weekend but close the SEC with Mizzou at home. Find a way to win 4 or 5 and I could see them as the 15 or 16 seed.
Scary moment there for CLANGA. Kid squared to bunt and took one right in the face. Maybe hit his hand or bat first but that is going to leave a mark. He's up and walked back to the dugout. I think we have a substitute batter here with a 1-2 count.

The bigger story coming out of that series is Tech losing another series against a semi-quality opponent. I've maintained the past couple weeks that, if you ignored RPI, you would not have tech in the field. Now live RPI down to 49. They are 1-6 in weekend series against Q1-Q3 opponents with the only decent series win being vs WVU. 3-10 vs Q1, 4-3 vs Q2, 5-4 vs Q3. They have no business being in the field.
I truly believe this is our hardest weekend left in the regular season. LSU is desperate, a little hot and at home. Arkansas will struggle to outscore us and Ole Miss isn't that good.W said:

9 years ago the 2015 team rolled into Baton Rouge as #1...and lost 2 incredibly frustrating games before salvaging the finale.

I don't recall the 2015 LSU LF's name off-hand, but that kid made a few really nice plays that series if it's the same one I'm thinking of.
