I like Millers on Shepherd. Just north of 610 N about 2 miles.

I like Beck's Prime the best in town. Its a close second to Chicken Oil in CS as the best I have had.
I've never understood the obsession with the chicken oil (or dixie chicken for that matter). It's the same pre-made Ruffino meat patties that nearly every restaurant in C/S uses.
At least at Koppe Bridge, we soaked the Ruffino patties in Butter and doused em with salt and pepper

this thread inspired me to go grub a border burder at bubba's...added some of the red sauce. was damn good.
Gotta go with Southwells on San Felipe! I miss working nearby there :-(

Sam's Deli (i10 and kirkwood) Guacamole Pepper Jack Burger is the best I have had.
I'm surprised noone has mentioned Otto's... Probably my favorite in Houston. Second would be Beck's.
Beck's is good, but overpriced.
Miller's is damn good, and cheap.
Lankford is the pinnacle.
