Squishy Marie passed last night, my daughter's fourth and final hamster. She doesn't want to get a new hamster now that she has gotten older so we need to get rid of the cage to free up some room to put in the IKEA computer desk hack.
The Detolf hamster cage hack is one of the most popular of the cages and creates a very large environment for a hamster to thrive, they were so popular that IKEA was out of stock for a long time. It will come with the exercise wheel, multiple hamster houses and toys, and habitats. I made some lids for it just need to replace the missing knobs on one panel. I have attached a pic of the set up, this isn't our cage but looks very similar and I will upload some pics of the cage tonight when I get back and Squishy Marie's funeral is over.
