Well his (Coach Fran's) pic and bio are still on the official A&M Football page, so it must not be a done deal. I remember when Billy G. left his picture and title were pulled pretty quickly.

Neinas doesn't make the decision, he just makes the contacts and gets you the list of who's interested, who's available, and how much it will take.

No disrespect meant to anyone who may have actually seen the ESPN clip but why is nothing on their web page? I would think that this would make headlines on the website immediately. While I think everyone believes it will happen I remain a skeptic until I at least see something in the news (TexAgs has proved more often that not to be the source of bad info).

This is going to make the next couple of weeks easier, especially if it's handled the right way.
Fran needs to expect full responsibility for the lack of success during his tenure. I think his players will appreciate that. Who knows, it may motivate them to send him out on a high note.

You have to read the beginning of this post. What folks have seen on TV has been more direct than the way the article was written (with an air of speculation). I trust the reports from the TexAgs'ers on the tone of the TV report from ESPN2. I bet Fran finishes the season but this allows A&M to approach universities about arranging interviews.
