....says LSU was pursuing him after the end of fall football this past season... Seems like LSU backed off a bit going after bigger fish.....however we are going in scooping up some very good players when they messing around on the national scene.

"Stansbury, who added 40 pounds to his frame this season, just turned 16 this season. Franklin coach Zeb Simon said he’s already on the recruiting radar for such major programs as LSU and Texas A&M.

“He just got the respect of lot of people,” said Simon. “Last year he was first team All-District. This year he came along much stronger than in the past and much heavier. He had the ability to keep offensive linemen off his body. He has long arms, and he knows how to use his arms to keep that from happening. He was so good at one point, people didn’t run ball at him because of the respect he got. When they did, he was able get people off him and run down the running backs to make tackles, or make tackles right there at spot.”

He hasn't been offered by LSU but was being considered by them.

He is not even at the end of his JR. year yet.

You are correct he is not finished with his junior year....but his next football season this fall he will be a senior.....guess I should have said LSU was interested in him after the fall football season of his junior yr....is that "technically" correct enough for you??

Coryhub, it's pretty clear LSU was looking hard at him. Whether he got an offer or not, I do not know...

I have not seen film on him but those write ups make it sound likes he's a talented kid who's just beginning to really grow into a kid who can come in off the edge and do some damage.

Nevertheless, he's got an offer from Texas A&M and Mike Sherman and that tells me right then and there that he's got enough talent to be an asset to our football team.

Great committ! Sure fire 4* and just oozing with so much potential! I love the Kindle reference, I think this kid will be a bad ass in Aggieland! I am so happy with the job the staff is doing thus far!
