This movie looks absolutely awful, and perfect example of the remake no one wanted or needed. This coming from someone that saw the first one on opening night, and still loves it when it's on a random channel.

Just realized this movie comes out the day before my dad's birthday, and the first one just happens to be one of his favorite movies. And I'll be visiting home that weekend.

That chaser vid is for anyone who mocks cgi twisters.

I'm ready for this movie now. I was a huge weather nerd as a kid - wanted to grow up to be a meteorologist rather than a fire/police man. My dad worked in restoration and brought me home a laminated map of the Caribbean/GoM, so I could track hurricanes. The first one I tracked was named Andrew. I was hooked from that point on….

Learned a lot of things from the movie Twister - like a sex therapist is a real job and steak for breakfast is glorious.

I have seen 3 movies in a theater in the last 5 years, Dune,Dune 2, and Top Gun Maverick. That will be the next one.

One of the things I'm really intrigued about (and trailer 2 shows more of this) is how they aren't just pinning the two sides against each other (arrogant, polished, weather crew vs. the ragtag cowboys). They'll actually be working together in some form. Hopefully that means we get a well-rounded storyline that paints both groups as well intentioned, but complicated.
