They live within about a half mile of that warehouse. Went up there today to try and help. I've seen pictures of tornado damage before but never seen it in person. Seeing it in person really puts into perspective. Their bedrooms and living room were totally destroyed. The dining room and kitchen pretty much untouched. The raw power of that storm literally ripped interior doors from their hinges.

It hasn't rained yet. Guess I should try to mow real quick. That should bring it in minutes.

Solid win. Mowed last night after work, woke up to .6" inches of rain.

Agreed. I spent 6 hours in the yard yesterday on mowing and general maintenance. It's nice to get it done just before the rain.

Got another 2" at my house. Nearing 20" total for the year which seems higher than normal lately.

Careful what you wish for! We found a roof leak and a window leak last night. That rain was pounding us.

Well I got our guys to work tomorrow and moved up jobs for them to do because it looked like no rain until Sunday and now this hits

It's a mix of things.

Some build hail cages to protect their cars (well, at least the glass).

Some do rental cars and pay for full coverage on the rentals, and don't worry about it (yeah, that's shady).

Some have old beaters they don't mind getting demolished.
