I will never forget precisely where I was when I learned of this tragedy, nor will the memory of my exultation at our righteous victory in the aftermath ever fade. This entire event is all anybody could ever need to have The Aggie Spirit brought to life.

Thank you very much Billy for the post. And thank all who have posted on this thread and expressed your love for Texas A&M.
We were on a prayer list for them all and I especially remember prayers for John Comstock who was badly injured. As I remember, John survived his injuries. I hope he is doing well and all who were injured. That was a sad, horrible day. God Bless all who died, were injured and the many who gave their all at the site.

damn that hurts to read. i will never forget the sight of university drive absolutely PACKED with the vehicles of people who poured in from all over the country to give blood, help with the clean up, and mourn with the aggie family. it was truly a testament to the aggie spirit, but the circumstances were too much to bear.
