All the drawings are great though. I haven't had the time to sit down and finish a new drawing in a while. Hopefully I'll be able to crank out a few more soon. I've actually put together a small gallery of some of my favorites and displayed them in a few small art shows and galleries. The drawings are actually partially responsible for me getting my new job with an arts & entertainment magazine by putting me in contact with my current employer about getting my work displayed so I have this thread to thank for that. The new gig is great but keeps me pretty busy and away from MS Paint most of the time.
I have started learning how to use actual paint though and have been working on two Austin themed murals of Zilker Park and Barton Springs in my garage and my buddy's gym the past few months. I've never painted anything before so its been really fun figuring out how to make the it work, learning how to mix and blend colors together to add depth, and which techniques to use to get the look you are wanting using real paint. Still learning, but the good thing about a garage wall is it gives you lots of space to practice.
