just FYI, they do a sweet job of catering. we've had them cater to our office several times and all of the office employees love it (vs. the traditional jason's deli boringness)

Had the Chicken Fajita Salad.

Took the girlfriend for the first time and she thought it was great.

took a friend there on Saturday.

he thought it was excellent as well.

looks like i'm going to have to go...so far.....away...........

I worked around that area for a few years, but I never made it there. I did like Brother's Pizza, though. It is on Montfort facing the mall.

I work downtown now, and I've made a restaurant discovery...Tejano Restaurant in Oak Cliff. It's on Beckley and Davis and it is great.

Guys... Appreciate what you have in Dallas. I just moved from Frisco to SoCal and the Mexican food here SUCKS. I grew up on Tex Mex and my passion will never change. Even the bad Tex Mex in Texas is better than this stuff.

rumor is you can get free sopapillas if you are a new customer and tell Juan or Rose (the owners) that you heard about it from Texags

I had to tell Juan the other day to hold the free desert because I've got to lose some weight.

finally went to the chap on friday evening with my girlfriend. i have to say it was pretty good. i personally wasn't a fan of the salsa, but that's just me. my GF liked it fine.

she is a fan of the quesadilla, so i told her to try those since skran recommends them so highly. she loved them and i also tried a bite....very tasty. i had the enchiladas verde, which were excellent.

the service was good, although i did sit there for about 15 minutes not knowing that i needed to walk up to the counter and pay.

Huh...I've never had to go to the counter to pay.

They get their liquor license yet, Skran?

don't know that i had to. waitress had already asked if we needed anything else. we weren't in a hurry, but it didn't seem like a check was coming. i saw the guy at the next table walk up to the counter and she figured his bill right there, so i did the same.

Still no liquor license.

I've never had to go up to the register to pay.

guess the jedi mind trick didn't work.
