I really hate to lose Brady. The guy was a hell of a coach.
I'd expect this resolves itself very quickly and that we will make a hire that most will be quite pleased with.

Is Lance Broome is in the portal and leaving us?
Saw he removed A&M stuff from social media and posted the picture at Tech… would be very disappointing. Not sure what it means
Texas Tech is getting a lot of athletes from the transfer portal. They always go after all our athletes. They are stacking up with transfers. Recently they sign Debo Swint from Florida State.
It was said that Kurt Henry is a great recruiter. Honestly I haven't seen any indication of this yet but I will wait and see. So many athletes in the transfer portal and we are yet to see any notable athletes transferring to us

Sadly, it seems our track dominance is slipping away. Hopefully our AD takes a hard look at this.
Lance Broome has indicated that he hasn't committed yet but was on a great visit to Texas Tech. He has definitely left us and in the transfer portal. We have lost so many athletes this year and it is just crazy. Something is not right with the program at this time.

Solid addition, will takeover a leg on the 4x400 and potentially can score in the open 400 as well! Was also on Coastal Carolina's 4x100 which scored at nationals. Will need more 400 girls since we lose: Charokee Young, Laila Owens, Jaevin Reed, and Syaira Richardson

National Signing Period is from November 10, 2021 - August 1, 2022.
I guess by Monday 1st we will know who would have signed during this signing period.
Expect a lot of commitments and signings over the next couple of days
If we do sign these sprinters it would be a step in the right direction

I'm hoping we can sign them! Not sure if they could score in the 100, but the potential is there! I also love having a 4x100 relay pool with Camryn Dickson, Semira Killebrew, Camille Rutherford, Jania Martin, Jermiasha Arnold, and Rachel Hall. I probably would bet we get another sprinter in the portal or possibly even in December/January!
7.18 and 7.29 for 60m is faster than we have been for many many years. These times are NCAA and close to NCAA qualifying times
11.32 for 100m is also faster than our best sprinters over the last few years so the potential is there.
I guess the coaches would have a chip on their shoulders after the loss of many athletes this year and hopefully surprise many next year with these athletes
