A&M just offered Kentucky WR transfer Jordan Anthony.

The interesting thing is he runs track as well. He finished 2nd indoors in the 60m at both SECs and Nationals.

He ran a 10.16 at the Tom Jones meet this year in the 100m and a 10.28 at SECs.

Could be a big pick up for track that wouldn't count against track scholarships along with Ernest Jackson from Refugio who ran 10.22 at state meet.

Laila Hackett runs 11.39 to win the 100m at the Great Southwest Classic

She also finished 3rd in the 200m in a time of 23.55


Ondrej Gajdos (Czech Republic) had a slight improvement in his 1500m personal best from 3.42.82 to 3.42.71

Big pick up for track. Finished 2nd at SEC and Nationals in 60m indoors.

Him, Ryan Martin, Devonte Mount and Asinga would make a great sprint group and would challenge for 4x100 title next year...assuming Asinga makes it to campus.

All speculation, but I can see some movement from the 400 guys! Pat Henry should never settle for 46 splits, especially not in todays game and not with the transfer portal! We need a top of the line 400 transfer!

Didn't see it posted but earlier we landed Zach Munger! He placed 6th in the 6A Division 3200! 9:01 PR! Huge pick up! His junior year time was 9:55, dropped his mile from 5:19 to 4:19! This improvement is wild! Was 20th in state at cross country and has a 5k PR of 15:43! Huge pick up, can't wait to see him grow!

Was just looking for who picked up the top sprinters (boys) from Texas. I was shocked that 8/10 on top 10 were not signed. I kept checking and only saw 3 from the top 30 had signed; Bobby Drake, Dower Powel both to A&M and another (#8 or 9) to Miami.

I recall an article I read that stated NIL proposed bill to take effect 7/1 if the senate has voted in favor otherwise it takes effect September 1. These students are about to enter into a new age of getting paid and recruited to come run. I wonder how A&M will respond or fare in the new age. We will know soon enough. We may be done with short sprinters for this recruiting cycle/ or maybe not. Top times on the board are 10.30 fully automatic /wind legal.

Rylee Lydon is the your Nike Nationals Runner Up in the Heptathlon! She scored 5152 points, which would have placed 9th in the SEC! She had some great performances including a 2:12 800! Her weakness was in the throws only earning about a combined 950 in the shot put and javelin, but that's common for a young multi! She also didn't reach her potential in the long jump which is a top event for her! She will come in next year and score at conference and hopefully get close to qualifying for nationals!

His PB is
200m - 20.89
400m - 45.46

He also split 44 on Baylor 4x400m relay team

Arkansas picks up another top Jamaican Triple Jumper. Apalos Edwards transfer from LSU to Arkansas. PB is 16.84m (55'3").

We are yet to pick any long and triple jumpers for the upcoming season. I am hoping we can get a couple of good ones. We have been lacking in this area for some years now.
