Definately tell ebay. Provide proof. Ebay will inform the authorities and prosecute this guy if it can be proved. This is obviously something he has done before. If you do not prosecute you can count on him doing it again. The only reason he is scared is because he got caught. If he sees that he can get caught and still go unpunished he will continue.

My 2 regrets:
1. Texican did not film the exchange - cheaters style.
2. Joey has not had his arse beat.

Otherwise....big-time fun!

Tiny, read the dang thing. It's worth the 15 minutes of your life to do so. It goes right up there with the DallasAg meltdown, and is almost (But not quite) to and aggiegrant level.

Page 10 or 11 has the information where Texican got the bows back from the guy.

Synopsis:

Texican08 and his friend had their hunting bows stolen from their garage during ring dunking party.

They find the bows on e-bay.

People google the e-mail address and search on myspace.com and it turns out the idiot used the same e-mail on e-bay as he did on myspace.com

Using the info on myspace (and possibly facebook), they figure who the guy is.

Texican08 calls someone to get the address of the guy. The guy he called tips of the bow-stealer, who then takes the auction off of e-bay, drives 90 minutes away to dump the bows.

Texican08 goes to his house to wait for the guy.

Somehow contacts the guy... Guy says he has to go get the bows. He stole them because he lost his blackberry and needed money to buy another one.

Guy actually shows up with bows and gives them to Texican, but then tries to get Texican to admit to stealing his blackberry.

Texican calls him choice names.

Texican wants to press charges, but his friend does not. Texican is going to see how things work out.

Best 20 minutes I will have today. Thanks guys.

This is the best way I've started a day in years. Not only am I amazed that the guy was tracked so fast, but to actually get the bows back in the middle of the night is impressive. Is there anything that TexAgs can't do?
